Stay With Us

Lodging:

We have six featured cabins/lodges available for our guests. Each is fully furnished and comes with bedding, towels and linens. We maintain non-smoking environments for your health and enjoyment.

The Main Lodge is newly remodeled with two executive style suites, and a separate bunkroom with two bunk beds each. The Whitehouse sleeps 8 to 9 people. The large common room (family room) has big screen satellite television, and comfortable lounging furniture. The main dining area will seat twenty while relishing our chef's exquisite wild game cuisine. This lodge is perfect for small group meetings, executive retreats, wedding parties, family groups, friends, or hunting parties. White House guest enjoy their own fishing pond just steps away. This is the gathering place you always wanted.

The Horizon Hideaway Couples Suite is a specialty cabin made for two with a beautiful view overlooking the entire ranch with its very own fishing pond in front of it. Decorated by the ranch owner's wife, there is a bit more attention to design than you might expect on a game ranch. Secluded and quiet, private and beautiful, it comes equipped with a microwave, coffee maker, outdoor grill, and refrigerator. It is fully furnished including a small fire place and small flat-screen satellite television, and has a complete bathroom with oversized tub. This cabin was made with the “romantic couple seeking an elegant getaway” in mind. It is also great as a writer's retreat, a luxurious overnight for the traveler, or the business person who enjoys luxury, but is bored with hotel accommodations and wishes a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. The view from the covered porch is idyllic, overlooking the fishing pond with the Sulphur River in the distance. Birds abound. Wildlife surrounds you. All you hear are the sounds of nature.

The Camp House (Newly Remodeled) sleeps 40 people with separate men’s and women’s dorms and bathrooms, includes a kitchenette, large dining area/classroom, and game tables, pool, ping-pong, and shuffle board, perfect for large groups such as boy/girl scout troops, family reunions, church retreats, and birthday parties. The surprise is that it feels more like a deluxe suite than a hunting lodge. The decor is bright and fresh with natural wood planking and clean, comfortable bunks. The large covered rear porch offers a view of much of the ranch and an opportunity to grill outdoors if you wish. A large native oak shades the porch.

Fishing Cabin ExteriorFishing Cabin Interior

The Fishing Cabin is a simple rectangular building located on the bank of our gorgeous 21 acre lake. But, don’t let its simple outward appearance fool you. The Fishing Cabin sleeps 5-6 people in its surprisingly attractive interior. The cabin comes equipped with bunk beds, full bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, and coffeepot. A boat dock/pier is just steps away. The cabin's proximity to our lakeside picnic pavilion and kitchen makes this the perfect cabin for a family, a fishing group, or as part of a larger group such as family reunion or summer camp staff.

The Skeet Suite is always a pleasant surprise for first-time visitors. Built inside the historic dairy barn, the Skeet Suite sleeps two people. Its exterior is roughshod and utilitarian (retaining the original dairy barn and all its rough features) but the interior is very attractive with natural wood planking, luxurious furnishings, separate sleeping and living rooms, even a balcony overlooking the ranch. The suite comes equipped with a queen size bed, full bathroom, full kitchen, and small flat-screen satellite television. Be sure to include this suite in your reservation list.

Our most spartan accommodation is Hog Hunter's Haven. Its rough-and-ready look leaves little room for formality. Comfort and utility are its charms. Full kitchen, living/lounging room, two bunkrooms, one full bedroom, and two baths make this a comfortable lodge for groups up to ten people. The interior is bright and sunny with an outstanding view. There is no feminine influence here. This is a man's world. Enjoy.

Camping:

We have six full RV hook-ups that include water, electric and sewage. There are also RV spots that only have electric hook-ups. Tent campers have plenty of room to set up next to our 21-acre lake. The picnic pavilion is located next to our campgrounds at the lake. We have added a fully equipped kitchen that our guests can use if they would like to prepare their own meals. We also have a smoker, several grills, and fish-cleaning station equipped with a sink for your convenience.

Meals:

We can provide meals during your visit, or our guests are welcome to bring their own supplies and use our fully equipped kitchen to cook for themselves. Our menu may consist of a hearty breakfast with all the trimmings, a smoked hog with fried potatoes and baked beans for lunch, or a tender rib-eye with a huge baked potato and salad for supper. Or, pre-arrange with our chef for special meals. He will prepare cuisine to satisfy the most discerning gourmet. Meals can be enjoyed at our picnic pavilion right on the water's edge of the lake.
